5-Minute Warrior Shred Yoga Abs Workout

To give you a little taste of what it’s all about, here’s a quick 5-minute Yoga for Abs workout you can do right now. It’s designed to strengthen your core, improve flexibility, and give you a glimpse of how yoga can help you hit your fitness goals.

5-Minute Warrior Shred Yoga Abs Workout

1. Cat-Cow to Plank Flow (1 Minute)

  • Start on all fours.
  • Inhale: Arch your back, lifting your head and tailbone (Cow Pose).
  • Exhale: Round your back, tucking your chin and pelvis (Cat Pose).
  • After 2 rounds, flow forward into Plank Pose and hold for 10 seconds, then return to all fours.
  • Repeat for 1 minute.

2. Side Plank with Hip Dips (30 Seconds Each Side)

  • From Plank Pose, rotate onto your right side, stacking your feet.
  • Lift your left arm to the sky.
  • Lower your hips toward the mat, then lift back up.
  • Do this for 30 seconds, then switch sides.

3. Boat Pose (Navasana) with Leg Taps (1 Minute)

  • Sit on the floor, lean back slightly, and lift your legs to form a V-shape.
  • Extend your arms forward.
  • Tap your right foot to the ground, then your left, keeping your core engaged.
  • Continue for 1 minute.

4. Plank to Downward Dog Flow (1 Minute)

  • Start in Plank Pose.
  • Exhale: Push your hips back into Downward Dog.
  • Inhale: Flow back into Plank.
  • Repeat for 1 minute, focusing on core control.

5. Reclining Twist with Core Engagement (1 Minute)

  • Lie on your back with knees bent.
  • Lift your knees to a 90-degree angle, keeping your core engaged.
  • Drop your knees to the right, then back to center, and to the left.
  • Repeat for 1 minute.
