Hey, Forest Vance here – owner of FVT Personal Training.
Thanks for your interest in our Foundations / Beginner Boot Camp!
Here’s how the program works:
1 – We’ll meet with you one-on-one to kick off the program and get things started on the right track. We’ll do an in-depth assessment and help you figure out a specific plan to reach your goals.
2 – You’ll go to work in our boot camps for the remainder of the program, in our “Beginner- Friendly” time slots. Here are the times you’ll be able to pick from:
7485 RUSH RIVER DRIVE
– 6am – Monday, Wednesday, and Friday- 6pm – Monday thru Thursday – 8am – Saturday
1530 X STREET
– 6am – Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday- 915am – Monday and Wednesday- 6pm – Tuesday and Thursday- 8am and 9am – Saturday
3 – You get a copy of our Performance Nutrition plan – this tells you exactly how and what to eat during the program for maximum results.
This is the same meal plan that hundreds of our Sacramento, CA clients have used over the last 10 years to get amazing results in record time 🙂
4 – Before / after body comp assessment
We’ll take your weight and body fat percentage so that you see where you are starting, and so that you can see and measure your results!
The program is 28 days long. It includes 6 workouts total – an initial 45 minute PT intro session, and 10 boot camps. The total cost is $199.
Interested?
Next step is to set up a time for a quick call.
We’ll chat more in depth about your goals, give you more info on our program, and make sure it’s a great fit for both of us.
Simply shoot me an email at [email protected] and let me know what a good time to reach you would be, OR give us a call at 916.273.9366.
Look forward to talking soon!

Sarai J Lost 45 Pounds, Dropped 16% Body Fat and Gained 14 Pounds of Muscle
In the last twenty months – in spite of a VERY busy schedule, and actually living and working on the other side of town, but finding a way to make it in two or three times per week, she has:
– Lost about 45 pounds
– Dropped over 15% body fat
– Added 16 pounds of muscle
– Gotten her first pull up(s)
– Has gotten WAY stronger and is putting up some crazy kettlebell strength #’s
Check out the email I got from her about a year ago below:
###
Hey Forest,
I got my bodyfat tested.
(FYI – we do basic body fat testing at the studio, but Sarai likes to get it done on her own in a BodPod device for optimum accuracy)
I am at 173.2 lbs and 19.6% bodyfat. It’s been over 3 years since I’ve been in the teens! I also added 9lbs of muscle and that explains why the scale is not really moving that fast even though I can see a lot of change.
It’s good info. He told me to keep eating my 2400+ calories a day and keep my workout schedule cause it’s working!
Yay me!
My goal is still 14-15% so I have about 10 more pounds of fat to lose.
As you know I am totally capable of working out on my own and I still do, but having the accountability to show up somewhere at a set time and to be pushed has helped me get back on track this year and stay on track. Plus I learn some stuff too.
Thanks again for your help!
###
And an UPDATE one year later, 12.8.14 … Sarai is down to 158 and 15.7%!! AND getting stronger every day! WoW, awesome work!!!!
###
CONGRATS to you Sarai!! Awesome, awesome job. We are so happy to be a part of your progress – and look forward to helping you reach your ultimate fitness goals very soon!!
Keith P Lost 40+ Pounds, Hit a 300 Pound Deadlift and Completed the Spartan Beast!
It was January of 2015.
We had opened the doors of our new facility on X and 16th Street, just three days prior.
Keith walked into the gym, and the second I introduced myself to him, I knew he was COMMITTED, and ready to make a change.
But it wasn’t until recently that Keith shared the picture below with me. This was the picture that was the final motivation for him to start on a committed fitness program:
So I wanted to interview Keith – to both give him a shout out for a job well done, and to also hopefully inspire YOU to get started on your fitness journey!
Back to the first day we met.
Keith was committed and ready to start from that first day he walked into FVT … but he had no plan.
He told me in our recent interview:
“I knew that I had to lose weight and make a change for my health … but I didn’t know where exactly to start.”
We sat down for an intro session the next day … mapped out the plan he would need to follow for the next 12 months to reach his goals … and got started right away working towards them together.
Keith has been one of our most committed and consistent clients ever since that first day. He is happily married with three children, and is actively involved with the activities and responsibilities that brings … he works in his family business, travels all around Northern California, and works long and hard hours …
But he makes his fitness program a priority. He makes times and gets in and gets it done – four times per week – no matter what.
Says Keith:
“The only way you’ll see a difference is if you make a commitment to yourself and stick to it.”
In the last 22 months we’ve worked together, Keith has met his initial weight loss goal and surpassed it. He’s down a total of 40 pounds.
He’s also accomplished some impressive physical feats. He recently hit a 300 pound deadlift –nearly his double bodyweight, and at the age of 53! no less – and just a few weeks ago, completed the Spartan Beast, a 15+ mile, 35+ obstacle race, done at elevation in Lake Tahoe.
“When I started at FVT at the age of 51, I never thought I would have been able to do some of the things I’ve accomplished here. I’d say I’m in the best shape of my life, and I’m still just as excited about training at FVT as I was the first day I walked in.
It’s never too late to start your fitness journey!”
Keith’s amazing transformation is proof that with a commitment and dedication, the results will follow. He brings in great energy into the gym and we are so glad to have him on our team. Keep up the hard work Keith, and we can’t wait to see your continuing progress!
