Learn the Basics of Safe and Effective Kettlebell Training
and How to Take Your Training to the Next Level

From: The Forest Vance Training studio, Sacramento, CA –

If you’re:

  • Looking to learn the basics of safe and effective kettlebell training
  • Already training with KB’s, but having problems mastering good technique
  • Tired of your lower back/forearms/shoulders/etc. hurting after a KB training session
  • Simply love kettlebells, want to discover new training tips and workouts, and spend an awesome day around like-minded kettlebell enthusiasts

You’ll want to read this entire letter.

My name is Forest Vance. I’m a certified kettlebell instructor and personal training studio owner based out of Sacramento, CA. I have a master’s degree in Human Movement, multiple personal training certifications, and nearly a decade of experience in the fitness industry.

I’m writing this to you today because I want you to know that there is a simple solution for all your kettlebell training frustration, and there’s an easy way to use KB’s – along with a few other basic body weight exercises – to lose fat, gain lean muscle, and get into phenomenal physical condition!

But more on that later.

See, not too long ago, I was just like you. I thought I could just grab a kettlebell and start swinging it around after reading a few articles and watching a couple of YouTube videos. Boy, was I wrong.

Let’s face it, kettlebells are an awesome training tool, but if you don’t know what you’re doing, you at best won’t get the benefits from training with them that you should … and at worst, you’ll badly injure yourself.

I knew I needed some quality instruction to learn how to use kettlebells properly. I started with books and DVD’s from Pavel Tsatsouline (the man responsible for bringing the current kettlebell craze to America and the master of modern HardStyle kettlebell training). I spent thousands on personal training sessions from a local kettlebell instructor. I’ve even travelled across the country and paid thousands more (and untold blood, sweat, and tears) for what is now MULTIPLE RKC certifications.

I love kettlebells! And I want to help as many people as possible learn how to use them safely and correctly to reach their ultimate fitness goals.

Introducing my Co-Presenter Logan Christopher

But that’s not all. I recently had the opportunity to meet Logan Christopher. If you don’t know Logan he’s quite an extraordinary fellow. He’s done over 300 reps in the USSS Snatch Test, when 200 reps is considered very good. He’s a Master of Kettlebell Juggling. He’s been training with and teaching kettlebells for almost ten years now.

Here’s a short clip showing Logan basically showing off what may be the most insane thing ever done with a kettlebell.

Pretty crazy right? And that’s just one example. Don’t worry we won’t be covering skills quite like that, some basic juggling yes, but no fire involved.

As you can see he’s quite adept at kettlebells so I invited him to join me for a workshop and teach you everything he knows about kettlebells.

We’ve decided to put on a kettlebell workshop at the FVT studio in the Land Park area of Sacramento, CA.

We will be holding two kettlebell workshops at the FVT studio on Saturday, June 15th, 2013. You can sign up for the one that best fits your specific kettlebell training goals – or you can attend both for the ultimate KB training experience!!

Kettlebell Juggling Quick Start

Please keep these two things in mind – they are critically important:

1 – As a way to reward folks who act quickly and take action, the first eight people who reserve their spot at each of the workshops will get a small discount.

2 – I limit the size of these workshops to 15 folks to ensure maximum personal attention to form and safety – so once these spots are filled, that’s it. You’ll have to wait another 4-6 months for the next FVT kettlebell workshop and the truth is there probably won’t ever be one quite like this again.

Check out what some current and past clients have to say about FVT kettlebell training:

“Great Instructor for Begining Kettlebells”

Having never really done any weight training before, I was hesitant to start up a kettlebell regiment. Forest did a great job of breaking down each exercise into step by step movements so that I could confidently understand what I needed to do. I am now addicted to kettlebells and so glad I had such a great introduction.

Leslie, Sacramento, CA

“Keith Is A ‘Kettlebell Convert’”

I used to always go to the gym and use machines, but would always hurt myself … and the worst was when I would do squats in that machine where you add weight – I would always hurt my knee! So I quit going and gave up.

I have never had that problem with kettlebells … with kettlebells I can do squats and swings and it strengthens my legs and I don’t have problems with my knees.

– Keith, El Dorado Hills, CA

“A Patient Trainer for All Levels!”

I was pretty skeptical about introducing kettlebells into my fitness routine. As someone who was looking for a simple weight-training program, the kettlebells seemed intimidating.

Forest was patient with me and clearly explained how to do each exercise and the purpose behind everything we were doing. His extensive knowledge of physical training, and more specifically kettlebell drills, made me feel comfortable trying new exercises.

Since I started working with Forest on a kettlebell fitness program, I have noticed increased strength in my arms and legs and have an all-around easier time performing daily tasks.

Samantha , Sacramento, CA

“The Best in Sacramento Kettlebell Instruction”

Excellent kettlebell trainer! I had done a little training on my own before I found Forest. He coached me up on my form and now I can tackle more complicated exercises with ease. His fast paced combinations are a great cardio workout and leave me feeling smoked!

Sean, Sacramento, CA

Here are a few answers to frequently asked questions about kettlebells in general, and more specifically past workshops we have held at the studio:

Q: I have a bad back/knee/shoulder/etc. – are kettlebells for me?

A: Kettlebell training done right is actually good for your back. But it’s even more important that you’re using perfect form if you have any kind of injury. That’s why getting proper instruction is so critical.

That being said, there are some physical limitations that would probably make kettlebell training a bad idea. If you have further questions specific to your situation, contact me via the link below.

Q: I’m out of shape. Is this workshop for me?

We will be working out on and off for about 3.5 hours at each workshop – so yes, you do need to have a base level of fitness established, but you don’t have to be in world class condition. Again, contact me for questions about specific situations.

Q: I don’t want to bulk up. Are kettlebells for me?

A: One of the best things about kettlebell training is it’s ability to build a lean and toned physique. So without a doubt, if you’re looking for fat loss and lean and toned muscle, kettlebell training is for you!!
